Terms of Service

1. The service

ReceiptMate stores receipt information, identifies possible return, warranty, recall, and refund claim opportunities, and helps prepare claim messages for your review and approval.

2. Not legal advice

ReceiptMate provides administrative assistance and general consumer-rights wording. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or a guarantee that any retailer will accept a claim.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for adding accurate receipt, purchase, and claim information.
• You must review and approve claim messages before they are sent or treated as authorised.
• You must not use ReceiptMate to submit false, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent claims.

4. Success fees

Done-for-you claim assistance may be charged as a success fee, currently intended as 10% of money recovered. The exact fee and scope should be shown before you authorise a claim action.

5. Availability

We work to keep ReceiptMate reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every retailer policy, recall, warranty period, or price change will be detected.

6. Intellectual property

ReceiptMate and its software, branding, and content belong to us or our licensors. You keep ownership of the receipt and claim information you add, and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of ReceiptMate means you accept the updated terms.
